Bio

I am an Assistant Professor (lecturer) in Economics at Bournemouth University. I teach quantitative units at undergraduate level. I have also taught Sustainable Regional Development and Statistics and Data Modelling courses at graduate level. I am an applied economist. My research focuses on empirical aspects of labor markets, international trade, digital economy and public procurement. This means that my work lies at the intersection of applied econometrics and development economics. I received my Ph.D in Economics, Management and Statistics from UNIME in Italy. I also have a M.A in Economics from UCEMA and a B.S (Licentiate) in Economics from UNLP in Argentina. I have over 9 years’ experience working in public and private sectors and relevant research experience. I am particularly interested in understanding the interplay between labor market institutions and the adoption of new technologies such as e-government procurement (eGP), ICT expenditures and preferential trade agreements.
