Welcome!

I am a Research Economist. My primary research interests range from ICT & governance, public procurement, adoption of digital technologies and environmental commitments. I am also interested in understanding the effects of AI adoption for governments, cybersecurity measures as well as empirical questions within labour markets, real exchange rate policies, productivity growth and tax collections in developing countries. This means that my work lies at the intersection of applied econometrics and development economics. I earned my Ph.D from the University of Messina in 2022 and I was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Bournemouth University during 2023-2026.
